Origami in the Garden is the latest outdoor sculpture exhibit on display at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. The collection by artists Jennifer and Kevin Box is made up of 40 large-scale origami sculptures made out of bronze, aluminum or steel. As you wander around the gardens near the visitor’s center, you’ll find cranes perched on rocks, horses galloping though the lilac groves, sailboats lolling peacefully in the shaded koi pond and more. For additional information about each sculpture, consider taking an audio tour with your phone (grab a guide map from the visitor’s center for audio tour details). These whimsical creations will be on display through Oct. 21, 2018—go check them out this summer while the gardens are in bloom and stop by again this fall to see them during peak fall foliage. // www.arboretum.umn.edu
